Walk the New Forest from Blackwater Woods, an excellent arboretum with an interesting range of trees in an atmospheric location with sculptures dotted around to excite the senses. From here you get a real sense of being deep in the woods and its a great place for a picnic on the benches. Lots of great routes from here for all abilities.
