Walk a stretch of the stunning South Downs Way from the trails head in Winchester. This ancient trail runs 160km from Winchester to Eastbourne. It can be attempted in one go, or in stages, or you can simply enjoy a short circular or 'there-and back' walk. From Winchester you can head East across the fields towards the vantage point of Cheesefoot Head and its natural amphitheatre, then circle back via Catherine's Hill Fort, or simply keep going towards Eastbourne...
