Walk on the North Downs Way from Farnham. This historic 250-mile National Trail sweeps its way through the Surrey and Kent Downs from Farnham all the way to Canterbury and the White Cliffs of Dover. From Farnham you can simply explore the countryside outside of town following the River Wey out to Waverley Abbey. For those up for a challenge you can do the first obvious leg of the trail by walking the 18kms to Guildford and returning by train - or carrying on to the coast...
