Swim in the River Test at Houghton

There are very few accessible places to swim in the Test River, Hampshire's longest and finest chalk stream and world famous for its superb trout fishing. Here at Houghton, just a short walk from the road, where a foot bridge crosses the river, surrounded by open fields, is a perfect spot for a paddle or a dip. This is a nice swim to do as part of a circular walk through Horsebridge and Bossington.
