Paddle the Basingstoke Canal from the Canal's administrative centre in Mytchett. This family-friendly location is a great place to get on the water, have a picnic or explore the local woods and heathland. You can hire various boats by the hour from the Canal Centre and even join the Basingstoke Canoe club which is based here if you want to learn some skills and come more often.
You need a canal license to use the canal, either from the Basingstoke Canal Authority or British Canoeing membership.
