Walk the Test Way from Chilbolton, heading South along the river to Stockbridge, from where you can follow the disused 'Sprat and Winkle' railway line to the National Trust's Mottisfont Abbey. From Chilbolton you can also explore the West Down Nature Reserve or pop down for a swim at Chilbolton Cow Common.
