Walk the Solent Way from Warsash local nature reserve, a beautiful spot at the mouth of the river Hamble with views over to Hamble-le-Rice and across the busy Southampton Water. From here you can cross the river by the small passenger ferry and head North through the Royal Victoria Country Park and Netley to Southampton. Heading South takes you along a quiet stretch of the Solent Way to Titchfeld National Nature Reserve and on to Gosport. You can also simply explore the local reserve, heading up-river to Swanwick.
