Walk the River and Forest from Betws-y-Coed, perhaps the best know village in Snowdonia where the River Llugwy meets the River Conwy, surrounded by the Gwydr Forest. From the picture-postcard Pont y Pair Bridge there is a well-marked riverside trail that is great for a short local walk, or further to take in the famous Swallow Falls. For the more adventurous you can continue further, following the Snowdonia Slate Path all the way up the Valley to Capel Curig and into the mountains. However far you go, there are options to return to Betwys y Coed using the excellent Sherpa'r bus service.
