The Isle of Wight coastal path is a scenic and varied 70-mile route around the island. From Queen Victoria Fort you could simply explore the country park, with its woodland trails and stunning views of Hurst Castle. Or, you can follow the coastal path East through Yarmouth towards Hamstead and Newton Harbour Nature Reserve. If heading South, you'll pass though Colwell and Totland Bays before climbing up on the iconic headland with its famous views of the Needles. Whichever way you go, you can easily return to your start point by bus.
