Walk the coastal path and ridgeways from Kimmeridge, a small coastal village set back from Kimmeridge Bay Marine Wildlife Reserve. This popular spot for walkers offers equally easy access to the South West Coastal Path and the Purbeck Hills with its dominating ridgeways. From here there is a new waymarked trail down to the Bay allowing you to explore the reserve and visit the Fine Foundation Wild Seas Centre at Kimmeridge Bay and the Etches Collection Fossil Museum in the village. There are also some stunning circular routes, either simply around the reserve, or longer, taking in Lulworth Cove, or Corfe Castle. Note that the coastline East of Kimmeridge is a military training area and has restrictions in place at certain times.
