Walk the Basingstoke Canal from St Johns, Lye Park, with good parking and lots of options to get a coffee or a bite to eat. The Basingstoke Canal is a pretty canal that cuts its way from Odiham in Hampshire to where it meets the River Wey in Surrey. From St Johns head North through Woking to Canal's end, or head South to Brookwood and a pretty series of lock steps on the way to Deepcut and Frimley. Whichever way you go there are easy train connections to return.
