Walk on Yateley and Hawley Commons, hidden gems with large areas designated as Sites of Special Scientific interest. Walk over heathland, through woodland and past lakes and ponds in an area full of wildlife. Plenty of well marked footpaths for circular walks, including access to the MOD-owned Hawley Lake. For those after a longer walk, you can access the Blackwater Valley path to Ash and return by train. There are several places to park and access the common, including from the nearby Blackwater Train station.
