Walking

Walk a stretch of the stunning South Downs Way from Butser Hill Nature Reserve. The South Downs way is an ancient trail running 160km from Winchester to Eastbourne. It can be attempted in one go, or in stages, or you can simply enjoy the scenery on a short circular or 'there-and back' walk. From Butser Hill you can explore the Nature Reserve and Queen Elizabeth Country Park. You can also follow the South Downs Way west towards Old Winchester Hill and Beacon Hill, or East into Sussex. There is ample parking, accessible toilets and a cafe
