Walk at St Martha's Hill, set high in the Surrey hills overlooking Chilworth village with stunning views. This historic site is is a beautiful wood-covered chalk hill with the impressive St Martha's Church perched at the top, and built as a landmark or beacon to assist travellers or encourage pilgrimage to Canterbury and Winchester Cathedrals.

The North Downs Way runs right over the hill and can be followed West to Guildford and beyond to Farnham, or East through Newland's Corner and on towards Dorking. A great circular route takes in the Silent Pools and Newlands Corner.
