Walk the North Downs from Silent Pool, a beautiful, shady spot nestled under the Downs and home to the well-known Silent Pools Distillery . From here there is easy (but slightly steep) access up to the North Downs Way and its fabulous views. Head West through Newlands Corner and to Martha's hill for a lovely return loop back along the valley bottom. Alternatively head East into the woodlands of White Down and on through National Trust territory to Dorking and Box Hill.
