Walk the North Downs from Denbies Hillside. This dominating point with views over to Leith Hill is managed by the National Trust. The hill and surrounding area (including Hackhurst Down, White Down and Ranmore Common) is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) by Natural England for its rich variety of flora and fauna. Explore the woods of Ranmoor Common and up to Polsden Lacey, or head off on the North Downs Way, East to Box Hill and West towards Gomshall, both with easy returns by train.
