Walk from Beddgelert a quaint mountain village in the heart of Snowdonia well known for the Legend of Beddgelert, the faithful dog. Set in the foothills of Snowdon and at the confluence of the beautiful Aberglaslyn Pass and the Nant Gwynant valley, there are is a great range of walking options here. You can simply explore the local paved river side trails including Beddgelert's Grave, with options to paddle in the shallows of the Afan Glaslyn river at it runs through the village. Other longer routes include the well-known circular route that takes in the dramatic Afon Glaslyn pass and over to Llyn Dinas. You can also head into Beddgelert Forest where a variety of forest trails provide stunning views of the mountains and access to Llywelyn Lake.
