Walk in the grounds of the National Trust's Penrhyn Castle , set on the Menai Straits, with a backdrop of the Snowdonia summits and views over to Puffin Island and as far as the Great Orme. There are 60 acres of garden and woodland surrounding the castle which are great to explore, including the jungle-esque Bog Garden and a great natural play park. As a National Trust property, this is paid entry and includes access to the castle itself, about which's provenance the less said the better...
