Walk at Bourne woods just South of Farnham. This fantastic area of open woodland is famed for the filming of the opening scene of Gladiator and is a great place for a short circular walk. For those looking for something longer, head south through Farnham Heath Nature reserve to the Ponds and the Commons of Frensham.

A leisurely 4-mile, undulating walk with two moderate inclines. There are lovely views from the Ridge. Sandy soil underfoot, so not usually muddy. Dogs on leads welcome. *CHECK START POINT
