Walk at Ashford Hangers, one of Hampshire's most beautiful woodland areas, known locally as "Little Switzerland" . The charming landscape here is criss-crossed with steep footpaths which provide some great local circular walks, as well as access to longer hikes along Hanger Way up towards Selborne. Beautiful as it it is, Ashford Hangers is challenging to get to, with very limited options for parking or getting public transport. This particular spot has some space for parking, but do consider a backup, including walking up from Steep or even Petersfield.
