Swim in Watkins Path Waterfalls and pools in the foothills of Mount Snowdon. This wonderful swimming spot is in the mountain stream running down from the Snowdon Massif and is accessed by the well-known Watkins Path that takes you to the Summit of Snowdon from the Nant Valley just up from Beddgelert. The pools are about a 30 to 45 minute walk up the path, accessed by a small footpath to the right of the main trail. There are a series of pools to swim in with stunning mountain views, but it should come as no surprise that the water is very cold! You can either head here just for a swim, or wrap it into a walk to the summit - it's certainly a good way to cool off after a long hike...
