Swim in Llyn Geirionydd, a stunning lake in the heart of Snowdonia's Gwydir Forest. Despite being fairly remote, this is a popular spot with walkers and paddlers and can get very busy on hot days in peak season. The water is easily accessible from from the gassy banks by the car park into the shallow shores of the lake. Its great for a family day out. Note that the lake does get very deep and cold away from the shore so be cautious.

No refreshments on site but a lovely picnic spot
