Children can paddle at the Moreton Ford on the River Frome, a popular spot on the edge of Moreton Village. The water is shallow and really only suitable for splashing around - but it is a great options on a hot day. Park in the nearby Walled Gardens where there are good facilities. You could also wander up into Moreton Forest to warm up beforehand.
