Swim in Horseshoe Lake, one of a chain of small lakes running through the Thames Basin Heath and Blackwater Valley. The watersports centre here offers a variety of paddle sports and now also runs organised open water swimming sessions.
Paid swimming sessions are organised by the Horsehoe lake activity centre. Check their profile below and website for availability.
Dogs are welcome on site but should be kept on shore whilst swimming
There is a good Italian-themed cafe on site
