Swim at Conwy Morfa Beach, a secluded sand and shingle beach off the mouth of the Conwy estuary a short distance from the iconic walled town of Conwy and its marina. The beach is a great place to avoid the crowds and wonderful views out over the scenic Conwy Bay shoreline and across the estuary towards Great Orme. The beach varies dramatically with the tide so be sure to check before you go - its best at lower tide and be sure not to get cut off as the tide comes in. The beach is backed by a long stretch of grassy sand dunes that are great for exploring. There are some lovely beach walks here which are very popular with dog owners.
