Paddle the Rivers and Canals from Tamworth. Tamworth is set in the heart of the Tame Valley, where the River Tame crosses the River Anker and the Coventry Canal branches from the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal. There are some great routes from here, the best probably being the Hopwas Loop, taking in the best of the river and the canal and an opportunity to cross the aquaduct. Beware the weirs and check the water levels before you go.
