Paddle the Afon Glaslyn from Nantmor, a stunning stretch of the river from where the rapids through the gorge end at Pont Afon Glaslyn giving a fairly clear gentle ride all the way down to the estuary and the harbour at Porthmadog. From the National Trust Car park at Nantmor there small path to an easy put in. The river then gently meanders through the countryside until opening out into the estuary. There are some small rapids, a very small weir along the way and the estuary is clearly effected by the tide, so this is only for paddlers with some experience. Note that this is essentially a one-way route so you will need to have a plan to get back, either using 2 cars or getting a taxi back from Porthmadog.
