Paddle through the Newtown National Nature Reserve and explore its network of channels and its varied wildlife. The mudflats, saltmarsh and shingle spits provide important nesting sites for wild birds, such as redshanks, ringed plover and terns. This sensitive site should be treated with care and respect - the National Trust website offers useful guidance on minimise your impact.
