Paddle in the sea at the popular sandy beach at Sandown. This is a great place to give paddling a go whilst having a swim, but there is not much to explore from here unless you push East up to Culver Cliffs. There are a few paddleboard rental locations dotted along the beachfront.

Plenty of cafes and restaurants along the seafront
Public toilets opposite the pier
Plenty of camping nearby, including at Willbrook Campsite.
