Paddle at the National White Water Centre at Canolfan Tryweryn, near Bala. This well established white water rafting centre operates on class 3-4 white water. Being dam-controlled the Tryweryn has fantastic water levels, especially in the summer when other rivers are low. Predominantly this location is focused on white water rafting experiences, but you can also book a pass to access the river with your own kayak and you can book coaching sessions if needed. The centre has excellent facilities including a riverside cafe, showers, toilets and changing facilities.
