Paddle from Brownsea Island, a natural haven in Poole Harbour and magnet for paddlers. Exploring the island from the water is great fun, whether you're paddling over from the mainland, or bringing your kit over with you to launch from the south shore. You can also hire paddle boards and kayaks and get a guided paddle from the Water Sports Academy on the island. Why not make a real adventure of it and overnight at the island's campsite

There are various options for getting here, predominantly by ferry from Poole Quay or Sandbanks Jetty, but also, for those in wheelchairs, using the National Trust's Seahorse landing craft from Sandbanks Yacht Company (pre-booking required).
