Cycle the Red Squirrel Trail from Newport, a purpose-built 32 mile trail of mostly traffic-free cycling through the heart of the Isle of Wight’s beautiful countryside. This easy-going accessible trail takes in estuaries, woodland, farmland, downland, and a stretch of the Island’s fantastic coastline. From Shide on the outskirts of Newport, head south along the stream to Blackwater and beyond, as far as Shanklin on the coast.
