Cycle the New Forest from Appleslade Inclosure, a pretty spot on the western edge of the National Park. From here you can simply explore the local woodland inclosures, or take longer rides onto the northern commons over to Fritham or the woods of Anderwood and Bolderwood.
Cycle trails in the New Forest are well-marked, and generally on gravel tracks or quiet country roads - ideal for families or those seeking a gentle ride. For those seeking the thrills of single track and downhill - the closest you will find to this is Moor Valley Country Park.
There is no entry cost.
Dogs welcome but cycling with dogs is not recommended
Pub just opposite
No toilets available on site.
Wild-camping is not allowed, however there are plenty of campsites available across the New Forest with Camping in the Forest.
