Cycle the Mawddach Trail from Dolgellau. This fully accessible trail follows the southern shore of the Mawddach estuary to its mouth at Barmouth Bridge. It is one of the National Park’s most abundant areas in terms of wildlife and history and offers spectacular scenery as you go. From ample parking and facilities in Dolgellau, follow the route either just to Penmaenpool and back or further to the seaside town or Barmouth and back. You can hire bikes in town.
