Cycle the Marin Trails from Betws y Coed, also known as the Gwydir Mawr trail (25kms) and its shorter cousin Gwydir Bach (8.7kms). These two fantastic circular trails offer a mix of big climbs and wonderful flowing single track through the dramatic Gwydir Forest. There are several places to start the trail; here at Betws y Coed you can hire bikes and have excellent facilities, but you do have a fairly long cycle uphill to join the trail. You can also start from within the forest at Hafna mine and Saw Bench car parks.
