Mountain Bike the Hurtwood from Peaslake. Nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, this picturesque village is a gateway to the Hurtwood, a hugely popular wild playground for mountain bike riders. With its diverse network of trails, from gentle forest tracks to challenging technical descents, Peaslake caters to all skill levels. The stunning natural surroundings, with lush woodlands and sweeping vistas, create a captivating backdrop for every ride. From here head up towards the high point of Pitch Hill with its stunning views, or play around on miles of excellent single-track. Unlike mountain bike centres such as Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Swinley Forest, the trails here are not marked, so some exploring is needed.
