Cycle amongst the hills, heaths, woodland and lakes of the Surrey Hills and Commons from Frensham Great Pond. With ample parking and good facilities you have immediate access to the commons. Plenty of options from short loops of the nearby heaths and Frensham Little Pond, to a giant loop taking in the surround commons and woods, and even an option to link up with the North Downs Way. Note that the area is prone to sandy patches which can make for hard going, so select your route carefully.
There is no entry cost, but note that swimming on the lake is restricted to the swimming area by the beach.
Dogs are permitted but not on the beach over the peak swimming season.
There is a 'hole-in-the-wall cafe by the car park. and a bar and restaurant by the sailing club.
Toilets available on site, including for those with special needs.
There are no official camping locations on site.
