Cycle the Basingstoke Canal tow path (aka the Saturn Trail) from Woking. This tranquil and historic waterway cuts its way through Surrey and Hampshire between Odiham and West Byfleet where it meets the River Wey in its last stretch towards Thames.

With easy access from Woking Train station to the Saturn Trail, either head West towards St Johns, Brookwood and Deepcut, or East to Canal's end where you can either head up the Wey to the Thames or down towards Guildford. The canal and river handrails the train line so you can easily return by train whichever way you go. You can even make a (long) circuit by following the River Wey to Guildford where you catch a short train ride back to the canal at Ash Vale.
