Cycle a stretch of the stunning South Downs Way from the trails head in Winchester. This ancient trail runs 160km from Winchester to Eastbourne. It can be attempted either in one go (and takes from 2 to 4 days), or in stages, or you can simply enjoy a short circular or 'there-and back' ride. From Winchester you can head East across the fields towards the stunning vantage point of Cheesefoot Head and its natural amphitheatre, then circle back via Catherines Hill Fort or Twyford - or simply keep going towards Eastbourne...
