Climb Y Pincin crag, a family-friendly gem overlooking Capel Curig in the heart of Snowdonia. This little known spot is a great place for an introduction to climbing on real rock, with a number of easy scrambles in a sheltered spot towards the top of the top of Y Pinchin hill. On the South side there is also a lovely slab with easy access to set up a top rope and some enjoyable lower grade climbs with stunning views up the valley to Snowdon. From the car park behind the shops, cross the A5, over a style and up through the field to the tree covered rocky outcrop at the top - into the centre for scrambling and round to the right to climb the slab.
