Climb on Portland at the Cuttings. These popular crags were from the old railway cuttings that ran along the East Coast of Portland. It is a great place to explore with wonderful views. The cuttings themselves are sheltered with a range of very achievable routes. It's a great place for your first outdoor climb and there are plenty of providers that you could book in with if you need the support.
Free public access to the coastal path.
Good for dogs.
No refreshments on site
Nearest public toilet is in Easton - so go before you go!
Basic Camping available nearby at Sweet HIll Farm
Be sure to check the BMC crag database for updates before you go.
