Climb at the Castle Inn Quarry in the hills above Colwyn Bay with spectacular views of the coastline. This south facing limestone crag is part of the Mynydd Marian Local Nature Reserve and is an SSSI and is wonderfully accessible, with routes starting from the car park edge. It is a great spot for beginners with good access to the top to set up a top rope and plenty of easy routes. There are also a range of easy scrambles along the crag for beginners and children to practice their skills.
